I’m not really concerned with the Ryan Braun suspension. We all knew it was going to happen months ago. Since he skipped out on a suspension last year on the most technical of all technicalities, anyone with a basic understanding of how the world really works knew that one day, one way or another, Braun would get his due.
I’m also not really concerned with the state of baseball. It is what it is. People are clamoring to call the Braun suspension the official end of the “Steroid Era.” With a dozen or so other players also involved in the same Biogenesis scandal that ultimately cost Braun the rest of his 2013 season, it’s far from over.
