Thoughts of the Day time! Today’s thoughts include the Knicks-Celtics Game Six tonight, the allegations that Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz doctored the ball in Wednesday’ start against Toronto, and Alexander Ovechkin leading the Capitals to a win in the series opener against the Rangers. Let’s do it!

  • Tonight’s the big game, Game Six of the Eastern Conference first round series with the Knicks and Celtics in Boston. After Game Three, almost no one actually thought there would be a basketball game at the TD Banknorth Garden tonight, yet the Celtics proved us all wrong. Many people have said they get a real Red Sox-Yankees 2004 ALCS vibe from this series. As everyone knows, the Yankees won the first three games of that series and the Red Sox became the first baseball team to come back from down 3-0 to win the series.
