The Daily Sports Obsession

  • First off, I have to mention my prayers and condolences for the people at the Boston Marathon. This serious incident was something sickening and scary, and I hope someday people stop performing these senseless acts of violence.
  • The Masters did not disappoint this weekend. There were storylines galore and Sunday’s playoff was a thrilling conclusion to Augusta. Adam Scott was a deserving champion. That putt on 18 for birdie was the signature shot of his career so far, and even though he was a few strokes back going into Sunday I knew he had a definite shot at the green jacket. He’s a great golfer who may be the best golfer in the world for a year or two when Tiger leaves the game, his short game is that good. As for Angel Cabrera, the man did all he could.
