David Stern has made multiple decisions this week that have exerted his authority as the Commissioner of the NBA. Are those decisions the right ones? Let’s examine.

The first decision David Stern made this week was to suspend Rajon Rondo two games for his part in an altercation in the Celtics-Nets game Wednesday night. Videos were taken down by the league, but if you haven’t seen it, just know that it was a bunch of pushing and shoving with Kris Humphries after a hard foul on Kevin Garnett. No punches were thrown but it did escalate partially into the stands. This was an absolutely ridiculous punishment by Commissioner Stern. First, like I said, no punches were thrown. Rondo didn’t swing at anyone like some players do in scuffles, he just went at Humphries.
